My blog is targeting the education community of teachers, administrators, and media specialists, etc. I made it a personal account of my thoughts about technology and Web 2.0 with resources with which to get started.
I have it set up as a blog for my history class students where I can post interesting additional information about whatever subjects we are studying at the time. In this case it is World War I.
I have embedded a youtube video that illustrates a game from my new favorite math website, mathplayground.com. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

I intend to use this blog for my parents (and students) so they can stay up-to-date and informed on the happenings of my classroom. I included two posts on my thoughts on technology in the classroom, information about the lesson plan for the week (as well as a rationale for the use of technology), and sites/articles/cartoons/books that will be helpful to stay technologically savvy. I am currently studying WWI and the Great Depression so the blog has FDR's reassuring tone... My apologies.

Using technology in the classroom can really enrich the quality of comprehension seen in students. It allows the teacher to bring an endless number of resources into the classroom that students didn't used to have access to.
